When you’re busy building your vision, comparison doesn’t matter.
A scroll through social media or overhearing someone’s accomplishments can make us question our own journey and get in our heads about what we haven’t achieved yet.
And before we know it, we’re criticising ourselves and wondering if we’re falling behind.
We know that’s not the healthiest way to hype ourselves up, so why do we keep doing it?
In that moment, we fail to remember that everyone has their own timing and their path isn’t our path. Their achievements shouldn’t shake our progress, because if we’re truly focused on building our own thing, we wouldn’t even have the energy or space to be distracted by what’s happening over there.
Instead, we should look at their achievements as inspiration. If they can achieve something we want, then that’s physical proof there’s space for us too. And if no one has achieved what you dream of, perhaps you’re meant to be first, setting the blueprint of inspiration for others.
You weren’t made to watch, you were made to create!
