I am so happy to introduce you all to a really good friend of mine PETA RAMIA * screams*. I first spoke to Peta in a spiritual facebook group and through our short conversation, we found out that we were already following each other on social media and had so much in common ( coincidence I think not).
Peta Ramia is a inspirational writer and founder of PetaRamia.com, which focuses on self improvement, self care and healthy motivation in all aspects of living. Peta is now more passionate than ever and covers a wider range of topics such as Lifestyle, Beauty, Self Care and Wellness aimed for women. Aside from blogging, Peta recently has started sharing her life on Youtube. She loves the simple things in life and inspiring others.
So lets crack on…
What is your brand?
My brand is essentially me, Peta Ramia. I am a blogger and youtuber who is sharing my journey and insights with the world. I’m not really quite sure where this is going, but I’m as passionate as ever creating all my own content and inspiring others. I’m just going with it and having fun! A lot of bloggers often have too many expectations, and want to be successful, which can take a long time, as well as strive to be like other bloggers, but the key is to write about your TRUE passions, show your readers vulnerability and your true self, which naturally people are attracted to and always be authentic!
What does your self care routine look like?
Being alone, taking a shower or bath in the dark with candles, pampering myself and also dressing up a bit with music on, dancing in my room! Lol and distracting myself from any problems or negative thoughts. I also love to read my own angel cards, and journal the messages I receive. Taking this time I need really helps me recharge my battery that life and other people can drain from me.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
It’s from a poem I wrote a year ago, and still resonates with me today:
Embracing my quirkiness,
Accepting myself for being the quiet one,
I’m happy knowing I don’t need to be loud to be heard,
I hear myself.
To me, being spiritual means;
Finding happiness from all of the above,
But most of all;
From within.
